The 2025 edition of the European Business and Nature Summit (EBNS) is set to inspire and mobilise the European business and finance community to drive transformative actions towards a nature-positive future. 

EBNS is the flagship European event on business and nature, organized by the European Business & Biodiversity Platform and funded by the European Commission. 

In 2025, the summit heads to Helsinki, Finland. Organised in collaboration with Sitra, the Finnish Innovation Fund, the event unites forward-thinking industries, financial institutions and policymakers around one goal: to develop profitable business with nature.

Halfway to 2030, we realise we have to step up. New global realities put additional pressure on our ambitious agenda to halt and reverse nature loss. Yet the reasons behind that commitment have not changed. Restoring nature is as much an economic as an environmental imperative. The Summit will demonstrate how integrating nature can reinforce business resilience and enhance competitiveness. 

For one and a half days, participants will embark on a journey to explore the essential steps required to design and implement ambitious and credible nature strategies. Pioneering businesses will show what’s possible, and financial players will explain how to turn nature commitments into concrete investments. 

The 2025 edition of EBNS will  provide a forum for high-level inspiration and in-depth, ‘boots on the ground’ discussions alike. By putting market leaders and early-movers in the spotlight, the EBNS will demonstrate the EU leadership and commitment to the business and biodiversity movement, sending a strong signal to its partners.
