The main target audience consists of representatives of the national and regional nature conservation authorities and their agencies, which are in charge of developing site-specific conservation objectives (SSCOs) for marine Natura 2000 sites.

This event will be in-person only. It aims to provide a valuable networking platform for experience and knowledge exchange, and to discuss and clarify questions that Member States have previously raised on marine SSCOs.

For information, a similar implementation support event on SSCOs for terrestrial and freshwater Natura 2000 sites was held in June 2025. The findings will be incorporated into this event.
