EU-wide implementation support event on developing national restoration plans under the EU Nature Restoration Regulation – marine ecosystems

This EU-wide 2-day implementation support event will be hosted by the Irish nature conservation authorities, together with the European Commission (Directorate General for Environment). 

Its target audience conference are representatives of national authorities for nature conservation of the EU27 member states, involved in preparing the marine part (Article 5 of the NRR) of the National Restoration Plans (NRPs) that member states need to be submit by August 2026. 

This event will provide a platform for experience and best practise exchange, on various aspect of nature restoration planning and implementation in the marine environment. The agenda for this event is currently being prepared, based on a survey of member state needs.
