EU-wide Implementation Support Event: “Nature Legislation and Fisheries: Supporting Implementation across Member States”

This in-person event, to be held over two days, will bring together the European Commission services (DG Environment and DG MARE) and Member States’ fisheries and environment authorities involved in implementing fisheries management measures in Natura 2000 sites designated under the Birds and Habitats Directives and in the MSFD areas, as well as planning of such measures required by the Nature Restoration Regulation. 

The event will foster structured exchange, peer to peer learning and practical guidance on implementation, thereby facilitating better understanding, cooperation, implementation and compliance.
